Bill Danoff performs at the World Summit For Children: Keeping The Promise Concert

 (This concert was to follow-up the Summit held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City on September 20, 1990.)

The  Summit was to address the health and welfare of children everywhere ... world wide.  Leaders from all nations participated including then President Bush.  Bill graciously performed for 30 minutes ... songs included were from his "Souvenir"
CD along with the mega hit "Afternoon Delight"

Included are photos from "The Old Cellar Door Gang Remembers John Denver at the Birchmere (January 1998); Country Roads Folk Festivals in West Virginia (2001 & 2002), 16th Annual World Folk Music Association Concert when Bill received the John Denver Memorial Award (2001); 18th Annual concert when Bill performed (2003); and Bill with Jon Carroll and Side by Side at Starland Cafe, New Year's Eve (2003).

In January of 2001, the World Folk Music Association presented Bill with their "John Denver Memorial Award."

It was presented by long-time friend Doris Justis of Side by Side.

Bill sang several songs, accompanied by Jon Carroll, Pete Kennedy and Doris Justis and Sean McGhee, Side by Side.

Jon Carroll provided back-up.

Pete Kennedy added dazzling guitar licks.

Bill led the entire cast in the finale, "Take Me Home Country Roads."
